I just recently reinstalled Jedi Outcast and began browsing this subreddit for news/new mods and I saw posts that, after all these years, were still asking how to enable dismemberment in Jedi Academy. After doing a lot of digging & research, I actually got it to work seamlessly about two years ago, but neglected to post it because I simply just didn't think to do so, so I apologize for that.
I tried every guide out there, and none of them are successful or repeatable. So, like many of you, I was disappointed that dismemberment didn't work quite like it did in Jedi Outcast.
